Integrity Unit
Introduction
The Integrity Unit is responsible for promoting integrity, strengthening good governance, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations at the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD). Its establishment reflects the Government’s commitment to preventing corruption, abuse of power, and misconduct in the public service.
Ensure the best governance is implemented.
Ensure the inculcation, institutionalization and implementation of integrity within the Agency.
Detect and verify complaints of misconduct and violations of the code of conduct (staff) and ethics (organization) and ensure appropriate follow-up action is taken; and report criminal misconduct to the responsible Enforcement Agency.
Receive and take action on all complaints/information regarding criminal misconduct and violations of the organization's code of conduct and ethics.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Perform the secretarial functions of the Staff Disciplinary Board.
Integrity Awareness Program.
Awareness Program on Applicable Orders & Circulars.
Implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Plan Initiatives.
