MRT Putrajaya Line is the second MRT line and act as the backbone of rail-based public transport in Klang Valley region. The implementation of the Putrajaya Line is expected to contribute significantly towards increasing the modal share of 40% public transport use in this region and in the process of making Klang Valley a step closer to reaching its aspiration of being one of the most liveable cities in the world. The Putrajaya Line will provide interchange with other rail lines at eleven (11) stations inclusive of a future connection with the High Speed Rail. The Putrajaya Line alignment will cover the area of Damansara, Kepong, Sentul, Titiwangsa, Kampung Baru, Sungai Besi, Serdang, Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.
